Supported Software

Spartan is a molecular modelling and computational chemistry application. It contains code for molecular mechanics, semi-empirical methods, ab initio models, density functional models, post-Hartree–Fock models, and thermochemical recipes including G3 and T1.

Faculty/Staff:

• Lab/classroom computers will have v20 installed to match course materials.
• A reboot is required after installation. License configuration for this product is complex with multiple steps, so please contact the support person below for support on how to configure network licensing.

Students:

• Using a different version or edition of the software may not match lab instructions for a specific course.
