The latest release of PerkinElmer’s scientific productivity suite serves researchers, students and faculty better than ever before!

ChemDraw® and ChemOffice® 17 deliver all the functionality of version 16, plus new feature additions to accelerate research even faster and enable new and growing areas of scientific research. Plus, we are adding to our bundle options to give you the broader set of scientific tools you need to do your research, from 3D modelling to spectroscopic analysis, to access to a brand new, web based Electronic Lab Notebook and scientific documentation and collaboration platform.

Follow the steps below to download and license the software:

  1. Go to http://sitesubscription.cambridgesoft.com/
  2. In the alphabetized list, choose ‘W’ for Williams College.
  3. Scroll down until you find the entry for Williams College.
  4. NOTE: Your access to the software and its licensing will depend on what version you want to use, v16.x and older or v17.x and newer.

    For version 16.x and older --
    NOTE: Support for v16.x is limited. It is recommended that you upgrade to v17.x or later.

  1. Choose the “Click here to download…” option for v16.x (be aware of the web browser requirements for this option).
  2. Enter your full Williams email address and click Submit. You will only be able to register if you enter an email address belonging to Williams College (@williams.edu).
  3. The system will verify your affiliation with Williams. Click "Continue."
  4. A serial number (license key) should be automatically emailed to the address you provided.

  5. You should be asked to set up an account password (do not use your Williams password).
  6. Once registered, you should be taken to a login page. Login using your Williams email address and new password. You will be taken to a software download page.
  7. In the software download page, download either ChemOffice (PC) or ChemDraw (Mac).
  8. Proceed to the Install and Activate section.
    For version 17.x and newer --

  1. Choose the “Click here to download…” option for v17.x.
  2. Enter your full Williams email address and click Submit. You will only be able to register if you enter an email address belonging to Williams College (@williams.edu).
  3. The system will verify your affiliation with Williams. Click "Continue."
  4. A serial number (license key) should be automatically emailed to the address you provided.

  5. You should be asked to set up an account password (do not use your Williams password).
  6. Once registered, you should be taken to a login page. Login using your Williams email address and new password. You will be taken to a software Download Center.
  7. In the software Download Center, click the ChemOffice Professional option
  8. Choose to download either ChemOffice (PC) or ChemDraw (Mac) .
  9. Proceed to the Install and Activate section.
    Install and activate the software --

  1. Run the software installation file you downloaded – this will launch the PerkinElmer
    installation wizard.
  2. In the PerkinElmer installation wizard, choose "Install Software."
  3. Complete the Software Activation step using your Williams email address and the serial
    number emailed to you, then click "Activate over Internet."
  4. The installation wizard will guide you through the remaining steps to install the software.
