Application:Cisco Anyconnect secure mobility client (VPN)
Description:

Virtual private network client

This application allows you to connect to many Williams College network resources while off campus.

For library resources including databases, electronic journals, and electronic books, you don't need VPN. Instead, please see the Researching Off Campus page at https://library.williams.edu/doing-research/researching-off-campus/

VPN Installation Details:

During the install select only:

  • VPN
  • Diagnostics and Reporting Tool

Uncheck all other apps. They are not used at Williams.

Once installed you can find the app in a Cisco folder within your Applications folder or all programs list.
When you first launch the app enter the following address to connect:

sslvpn01.williams.edu

The application will then prompt you to log in with your Williams College credentials. Students connect to Student-SSL-Split, Faculty and Staff connect to Fac-Staff.
