Virtual private network client

This application allows you to connect to many Williams College network resources while off campus.

For library resources including databases, electronic journals, and electronic books, VPN is not required. Instead, please see the Researching Off Campus page at https://library.williams.edu/doing-research/researching-off-campus/

Once installed you can find the app in a Cisco folder within your Applications folder or all programs list.
When you first launch the app enter the following address to connect:

sslvpn01.williams.edu

Then enter your Williams username (ex. abc1) and password. After logging in you will be asked to provide a MFA passcode from your Okta Verify app. If you prefer a push notification or have another method setup you can specify that in the box with the corresponding number. i.e. type one to get the Okta Verify Push notification
