Warning for windows users … Microsoft Office 2010 is available in both a 32-bit and 64-bit version. Some individuals may want to install the 32-bit version even if they are running 64-bit windows. Certain 32-bit applications that connect with Office may not run properly with the 64-bit version of Office. If you want to install the 32-bit version and see only the 64-bit version display on this page click on the "view all installers" link below ....
Specific software that we have discovered with issues include:
- Flash (below version 11) – Embedded links to Flash videos (e.g. YouTube) in PowerPoint 2010 x64-bit will not display correctly. A Flash upgrade to version 11 is available free from adobe, and is highly recommend.
- At least one individual at Williams reported that the Office 2010 "Merge to PDF" function will not function with Acrobat 9 and reports that it requires Acrobat Professional X.
- PeopleSoft – nVision reports will not function properly in Excel 2010 x64-bit. No known upgrade is available at this time.
