Rich Content Editor (RCE), updated for Fall 2021

You will see a few changes:

  • Media Options – Panopto (Course Media Gallery) and Google Drive options are now added to the toolbar. They are available under the App tool as well.  Khan Academy, TED Ed, Vimeo, YouTube, etc can be still accessed from the App tool icon.  Access the built-in media tools from the Record/Upload Media icon .

When creating or editing an announcement, assignment, discussion, page, quiz, or syllabus, the Rich Content Editor opens by default.

How to create hyperlinks to course content

Open Course Links

In the toolbar, click the Links icon [1] and select the Course Links option [2].
Note: To view the Links icon, you may have to click the Options icon [3].
