Guidelines for using institutional vs. personal accounts

Williams provides you an account to support your work at the college.  For your benefit, you should also have a personal email account in addition to your institutional account.  Not only is it good life balance, it is invaluable if you transition from Williams. Using your personal account will allow you to retain access to the important services listed below and will save you the headaches of changing your account information with a myriad of vendors.

Following the Data Classification and Usage Guidelines, Protected information should never be sent via email.  Confidential and Internal information should only be sent using your Williams account.
