As if we don’t have enough excitement with the beginning of a new year, please take a few minutes before the semester gets into full swing and update your devices. This is good advice for any device, which can benefit from software updates and regular power-off/power-on cycles, but there are particularly urgent items to address for Apple users right now.
The vulnerabilities that Apple has patched for the iPhone, iPad and Mac computers could allow an attacker to access your Apple Wallet and run malicious code on your device. “Zero-click” refers to advanced attacks that require no user interaction in order to exploit the vulnerability, and exploitation of this has been seen in the wild, making this very important to address right away.
