Project Coordinator Job Opportunity

 

Williams College is looking for two Project Coordinators to support a multi-year project to replace our core Human Resources, Finance and Student systems through the implementation of Workday HCM, Financials and Student products. The goal of this project is to better support the people and processes essential to the academic and administrative functions of the College through improved process design, user interface, access to data and information security. The positions are full time term positions for the duration of the project with an initial four year term.

This role is eligible to work remotely up to two days per week from locations in MA, CT, NY, or VT – after the initial training period & subject to review and revision as policy evolves.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of Project and Change Management, you will work closely with the entire project team providing project and change management support for the Workday HCM, Financials and Student implementations. This is a fast paced, collaborative project where you get to regularly engage with a wide variety of roles at the college to keep the project on track. As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling project meetings, keeping detailed meeting notes, assigning deliverables, monitoring due dates and the completion of tasks by the project team. In this role you will also be an important part of the change management team, assisting in organizing and communicating project details within the project team and the broader Williams community.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years relevant experience, or equivalent education plus experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining collaborative relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Attention to details even under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (ie: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) and Google Workspace products
  • Experience in higher education or project management is desirable
