On the Microsoft side of the house, Windows users should Check for Updates and apply them, restarting your computer when requested. On Tuesday, 8/13, Microsoft released patches for almost 90 security vulnerabilities, including six 0-days under active exploitation.
If you are on macOS or a Linux system, please check for available updates and apply them too. Apple has recently released security updates for most of its products, and both platforms are vulnerable to an old bug referred to as “0.0.0.0 Day“. Interestingly, Windows is not vulnerable to this, but needs to be updated anyway as mentioned above.
Please check for app updates (which would include your browsers) on your mobile devices too. If you need help or have any questions, please contact [email protected].
Did You Know? You only have to perform major updates to your OS once per computer? Based on our four-year replacement cycle, if you update from Win10 to Win11 or macOS Ventura to Sonoma (for example) one time while you have the machine, you will always be able to receive support and updates.
