R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is a GNU project which is similar to the S language and environment which was developed at Bell Laboratories (formerly AT&T, now Lucent Technologies) by John Chambers and colleagues. RATS is a leading econometrics/time-series analysis software package used worldwide by economists and others for analyzing time series and cross sectional data, developing and estimating econometric models, forecasting, and much more.

Research Insight allows you to extract data from Standard & Poors Compustat database. In addition to extracting data, you can report on, compare, analyze and graph company or sector data.
