Computer recycle and reuse project starts Friday

For 5 days in May and June OIT will be accepting old computer equipment at the college Agway barn. The dates are May 17, 20,     21, then May 31 and June 3. Hours are from 12:30 to 2:30.  A Williams ID is required to drop off equipment. We can only accept     personal computing equipment, not items more »

Drop in support at MEC ends Friday at 5 PM

Drop in support hours at the Media Education Center (Jesup 316) and Jesup 101 will end for the semester Friday at 5 PM. Faculty should contact their iTech liaison to schedule an appointment for project/media support after May 17.

Internet Explorer 10 & PeopleSoft

The latest version of Internet Explorer for Windows, Internet Explorer 10, brings with it some compatibility issues when used to run PeopleSoft applications. The default installation leaves the compatibility mode set to off. Configure your email client for SSL

Email clients like Outlook or Mac Mail can be incorrectly configured to send your username and password in clear rather than encrypted text. Correct settings are at http://oit.williams.edu/?p=11962 .
