Short Network Downtimes over the next few days

OIT will be applying updates to the 7 distribution switches on campus which will cause a 15 minute network downtime at some point for everyone. We have scheduled these so their impact should be minimal, as most are scheduled in the early morning hours before 7:00am.
At some point between Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 PM and Thursday morning at
7:00am, each of the 7 distribution switches will be updated, causing a
10-15 minute network disruption. This means no Internet and no on campus
network services.
This work is part of our network modernization project, and is essential
to complete this week prior to the OIT summer downtime on Saturday 7/30.
